Grojanowski, Jakov

Some orthodox scholars claim that Jakov Grojanowski is the name of a Polish Jew who wrote a report in 1942 about his alleged experiences at the Chełmno Camp. The report itself is only signed with the name “Szlamek,” and the identity of its author is uncertain. Other scholars claim that it was a certain Szlojme Fajner, but it is all just speculation. An analysis of the text, written in a diary style, reveals that it is a propaganda text written by the Jewish resistance fighters of the Warsaw Ghetto.
